Negative Self-Talk

Overcoming self-doubt and negative self-talk during workouts involves celebrating yourself for simply showing up and committing to your health. Focus on the experience of the workout, paying attention to how your body feels and the progress you're making, rather than comparing yourself to others or to your previous abilities. When you notice your mind drifting into comparison or self-criticism, gently redirect your thoughts to staying present with your feeling body and acknowledging the small victories you achieve in each session.
