Flower Power Virtual 5K

virtual training program

This is your chance to train for something—and actually follow through.
The Flower Power 5K is a 4-week, walk/run training experience designed to help you build endurance, get stronger, and feel more confident in your body… one step at a time.
You don’t need to be a runner. You don’t need a perfect schedule. You just need a willingness to show up.
The commitment is simple: 3 days a week. That’s it. Three intentional workouts each week that build on each other and help you progress without burning out.
Everything is designed to support you in getting to the finish—whether that means walking, jogging, running, or mixing it all together.
And when it’s time, you’ll complete your 5K your way
Outside, on a treadmill, around your neighborhood—this is a virtual 5K, which means you choose your path, your pace, and your environment.
What matters is that you start… and that you keep going.
By the end, you won’t just have gone 3.1 miles—you’ll have proven to yourself that you can commit to something, build momentum, and finish strong.

Come as you are. Grow as you go. 🌻

Classes in this challenge

GET STARTED:
🌱 Baseline Bloom 55

This is your starting point—or your chance to see where you’re at right now. In this class, you’ll go for 55 minutes and see how far you can walk, run, or mix the two. No pressure, no pacing strategy—just an honest snapshot of your current pace and endurance. This is a great way to get a feel for the Flower Power 5K training and decide if it’s a fit for you. And if you do join us, you’ll have a clear baseline to measure your progress over the next four weeks. Come as you are, see what you’ve got, and let this be the beginning of something. 🌸

WEEKDAYS:
🌻 Weighted Wildflower Walk 25

This is your strength day in disguise. For this class, you’ll add a little extra load—wear a weighted vest, throw some light weight into a backpack, or carry dumbbells in your hands.
Keep it light to start. Think strong wildflower, not weighed down—you should feel the added effort, but still be able to move with good posture and control.
We’ll move through steady, climb-style efforts with recovery built in—like rolling hills you just keep rising through. No sprinting here. Just grounded, powerful steps and a little extra resistance to push against.
This is what helps you grow deeper roots. Stronger legs, a more supported core, and the ability to keep going even when things feel a little heavier. So when you’re in your actual 5K, your body feels more stable, more capable, and ready to carry you all the way through.

WEEKDAYS:
🌼 Pick It Up, Buttercup 25

This is your speed day. We’ll alternate between push efforts and recovery, giving you chances to pick up the pace, then bring it back down before going again.
These intervals are what make the 5K feel easier. You’re training your body to handle faster efforts and recover quickly, so when it’s time to go, you’ve got another gear. It’s spicy, it’s fun, and it goes by fast.

WEEKENDS:
🌸 Petal to the Medal 40

This is your long, steady effort—and your chance to practice how you’ll actually approach your 5K. We’ll start controlled and gradually build, working toward a negative split so you finish stronger than you started.
You’ll find your rhythm, learn how to pace yourself, and get comfortable staying in motion for longer stretches. This is where confidence comes from. By the time your 5K rolls around, this effort should feel familiar—like you know exactly how to settle in, when to push, and how to finish strong.

EVENT DAY:
🌺 Flower Power Virtual 5K

This is your moment. After four weeks of showing up, building strength, and finding your rhythm, it’s time to put it all together.
You’ll complete your 5K wherever you are—outside, on a treadmill, around your neighborhood—moving at your pace and using everything you’ve practiced along the way. Start controlled, settle into your rhythm, and when you’re ready, pick it up and finish strong.
This isn’t just about the distance. It’s about proving to yourself that you can stick with something, grow through it, and cross your own finish line feeling strong, capable, and proud.
