Eydie Cohen
Book Apothecary & TNFT Team Leader
Eydie is a retired educator, lifelong learner, and fitness enthusiast from the Chicago suburbs. She holds a bachelor's degree in Education, a master's degree in Special Education, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership.
Unlike many people in the fitness world, Eydie didn't grow up thinking of herself as athletic. In fact, she spent much of her life believing she was a clutz. In her 30s, she joined a women's workout group and discovered that movement could actually be enjoyable. In her 40s, she joined a gym and began seeing the benefits of regular exercise. In her 50s, she embraced group fitness classes, and after retirement she discovered online fitness communities. Along the way, she even created her own version of water barre workouts for friends.
Eydie believes that you'll stick with what you enjoy and that every step and every rep counts. She encourages people to start where they are, celebrate small victories, and keep moving forward. Her approach to wellness focuses on consistency, community, and finding activities that bring both health and happiness.
When she's not working out, Eydie enjoys reading, learning new things, spending time with friends, and occasionally stepping away from technology with a good book. She has lived in England twice, owns more books and shoes than she cares to count, and is known for saying, "This is the good part!" during a stretch.
Her philosophy is simple: Keep moving, keep growing, keep grooving.
