Berry Burst
Recovery Shake
Ingredients:
1 Cup vanilla Greek yogurt -or- 1-2 scoops vanilla or chocolate protein powder depending on your individualized protein need
1 Cup frozen berry blend (Have fun here! Use all strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, acai, cherry, or a potent antioxidant blend, cherries
½ Cup coconut water (for electrolyte replenishment, skip if using hydration replenisher) Could also substitute tart cherry juice
1 Tbsp. Flax or chia seeds
1 Tsp. Maca powder or adaptogen blend*
1 dash cinnamon, cacao powder, or desired flavor booster
Water or milk of choice to thin out to desired consistency
InstructionS:
Combine all ingredients and blend on high, adding more liquid until desired consistency is attained.
